KlevaKlip is Australia’s only multi-board, fixed-pitch decking system – the clip controls the spacing of the boards, with each clip simply butting up to the previous one. This makes our system quick and easy to use when compared to other systems in the market.
KlevaKlip does not try and sell a “one product fits all” approach. This simply doesn’t work. Although many of the principles of our clips are the same, the actual clips for fixing ModWood, Trex and Merbau/Kwila are specifically different.

The KlevaKlip Snap-Loc clip for Trex® decking is approved for use with Trex ® registered trademark boards in Australia.
Whilst Trex® decking has for quite some time had a groove in the side of the board to allow a “biscuit-type” fixing to be used to hold down the boards, biscuit clips tend to be quite fiddly due to having to fit the “biscuit” into the groove in the board and the drive a very small headed screw in between the boards. It is a two-part process as the screws cannot be fully tightened until the following board is laid. Moving from joist to joist fitting and tightening clips is certainly no slower than conventional screwing down of a decking board, but it is tedious, hot work. There must be a better way........

Merbau is an extremely attractive, highly durable hardwood timber. 90mm Merbau decking is Australia’s single most widely used decking material.
There is no doubt that people absolutely love the look of a timber deck unencumbered by the look of hundreds/thousands of screws or nails in the surface of the boards. Whilst concealed fixing systems have long been around for timber decking, most of the various systems available required either pre-grooving or pre-drilling of the boards to enable the system to be used. This can be expensive, time consuming, detrimental to the integrity of the boards, or sometimes all three of the problems put together.

FOR SUPER-LOW DECKS OVER CONCRETE SLAB 35MM-65MM

The Patio Deck Kit provides a fixed height of 35mm (1 3/8 inches) to the top of the aluminium joist – the lowest height of any off-the-shelf decking sub-structure system on the market.
Now available as an optional add-on - the Patio Deck Kit Height Adjuster, which clips onto the standard system and allows the aluminium joist to be adjusted in small increments to a new maximum top of joist height of 65mm (2 9/16 inches).

The Adjustable Joist Support has been designed specifically to enable decks to easily be built over concrete slabs in areas where limited ground clearance is available. It is ideal for use when the step-down from your door to your concrete slab is between 100mm (minimum) and around 230mm (maximum).
The AJ45KIT & AJH45G has been specifically designed to be used with 45mm wide treated pine timber joists and the AJH50G for 50mm wide Steel or Hardwood joists for the Australian & New Zealand markets.

The KlevaKlip Multi purpose support (MPS) has been designed as a mid-sized support to cater for the “gap” in the market for decks that are a bit too high for our “Adjustable joist support” and a bit too low for our “Adjustable bearer support”.
The Multi Purpose Support has excellent adjustability, along with the strength and versatility to be used with either bearer/joist combinations, or with joists on their own. Coming in a “kit” form, it is efficiently packaged and quick and easy to assemble. All parts are fully hot dip galvanised.

Setting up a levelling post and bearers for the sub-structure of your deck can be tedious and time consuming. But it's one of those things that just has to be right.
The clever people from KlevaKlip have now released the Adjustable Bearer Support – aimed at the section of the market where decks are typically from 390 to 670mm off the ground. These heights are achieved by using different height joists and bearers.
Built heavy duty and fully hot dip galvanised, with an adjustment for “bottom of bearer” height of 160* mm to 290mm, the Adjustable Bearer Support will save time and make your job so much easier.

The Double Triple Connector fits 45 mm wide joists to most size bearers and the Joist Connector range comes in two sizes for 45 mm Joist to 70 mm and 90 mm wide bearers.The difference between them is the Double Triple Connector fits most size bearers and has two fixings to one side of the bearer and two fixings to the top of the bearer. The Joist Connector is fixed to both sides of the bearer and is size specific to either 70 mm or 90 mm wide bearers. Fixings to the joist is the same for both products.
